BALCONAGAR:In a heartwarming gesture to honor the pioneers who built its foundation, Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a unit of Vedanta Aluminium, hosted a special plant visit for its former employees. The initiative aimed to express gratitude for their decades of dedicated service and allow them to witness firsthand the company’s evolution into a modern manufacturing giant.
During the visit, the retired employees toured major operational units, including the smelter, cast house, and power plants. They observed how advanced technology, digitalization, and enhanced safety protocols have transformed the workplace they once knew.
