In a unique gesture, around 150 employees tied rakhis to male, female, and transgender security personnel across the plant. The activity recognized their round-the-clock service in maintaining a safe environment, reinforcing a shared pledge toward workplace safety and mutual respect.

Women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under BALCO’s ‘Project Unnatti’ presented handcrafted rakhis to senior management, including Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh, CEO & Whole-time Director, BALCO. The initiative reflected the growing financial independence and entrepreneurial skills nurtured among local women through the project.
