Balconagar | April 13, 2026।Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a unit of Vedanta Aluminium, has inaugurated a first-of-its-kind Safety Park at its Balconagar operations. The facility is designed to transform safety training from theoretical classroom sessions into an immersive, hands-on experience.
The inauguration was part of a massive safety month campaign themed “Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety,” which successfully engaged over 5,000 employees, business partners, and local community members.
0Interactive Learning for Zero Harm
The newly launched Safety Park features:
* Experiential Modules:Real-world simulations of industrial tasks.
* Visual SOPs: Graphic installations of Standard Operating Procedures.
* Hazard Hunts: Gamified zones where workers identify potential risks in a controlled environment.

In a significant move toward inclusive leadership, the safety drive was led by BALCO’s women employees. These leaders spearheaded various initiatives, proving that diversity is a key driver in achieving operational excellence and workplace safety.

BALCO’s commitment extended to the Korba community through several outreach programs:
*Road Safety: Installation of retro-reflective signboards and awareness camps.
* School Engagement: Drawing and slogan competitions for local students.
* Health & Fire Safety:Specialized workshops and health check-up camps for residents.
